Tommy Flynn

Owner & Head Coach

Growing up Tommy played many different sports, the main ones being soccer and lacrosse. His drive for improving in athletics led him to the gym to improve his fitness. Since then he’s been in a gym his whole life. Training was, is, and always will be a passion of Tommy’s and he was able to turn it into a career. For the past 10 years Tommy has been doing everything from personal training, coaching crossfit, creating and running youth athletics programs and more. Now he’s excited for the opportunity to accomplish a life goal joining an awesome community and grow the gym as an owner. Tommy will be around and wants to get to know everyone in the gym so if you see him say hi!

Jaryd Belanger

Owner

Jaryd currently works in operations for a Planet Fitness franchise where he runs 80 clubs across the United States. He’s been doing crossfit for over 10 years and has been a part of numerous crossfit gym communities, and has also spent time focusing on olympic weightlifting more recently. Jaryd is excited to get to know the community here, expand the opportunities available for everyone, and apply the knowledge and skills he has obtained from his previous experience in various gym spaces. During his free time you will catch him in his car at the racetrack or on road trips across the North East with his girlfriend, Lauren. Jaryd will be a regular member at the early morning classes and is looking forward to getting his CrossFit Level 1 certification and eventually coaching as well.

Melanie Rivera

Admin & Coach

Melanie’s fitness journey began in high school as a competitive cheerleader, sparking her passion for fitness. Driven to learn more, she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. After graduation, she earned NASM certifications as a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, as well as a CrossFit Level 1 certification. Melanie has since explored opportunities at different gyms, gaining experience training clients of all ages in both one-on-one and group settings. She has excelled in coaching CrossFit classes and running youth programs which included writing programs, conducting parent outreach, marketing and building a community that inspired kids to enjoy fitness. In her downtime, Melanie enjoys curling up with a good book and her cat Sushi or spending time with friends
